Yevonne Reynolds is an artist living and working in north western California. Her primary focus is on colored pencil landscape painting. Fortunately she lives in a very rural area surrounded by the wonders of nature.

Artist’s Statement
I’ve been an artist for many years. During that time, I’ve tried various media but prefer colored pencils as my medium of choice having worked with them for over 20 years. I'm surrounded by the northern California landscape and focus primarily on this genra. My colored pencil pieces range from seascapes to landscapes of scenic local places. Occassionally I'll do a floral piece, or still life, but not too often.I was able to travel to Prince of Wales Island, AK where I took many photos to work from when I returned home.

I've been accepted to juried shows in northern California and participated in numerous group shows as well as one-woman shows.

I studied art and design at Humboldt State University and College of the Redwoods, participaged in many workshops with instructors in and out of this area. I'm a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and District Chapter 210 in San Francisco as well as the Representational Art League, The Redwood Art Association and Humboldt Arts Council.

I draw for the pleasure and enjoyment it brings me and I hope others will enjoy my work as well.
